Our cottage is nestled in an apple orchard and surrounded by forest and nature, in the heart of the Wye Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. There are miles of woodland and riverside walks straight from the door, and several lovely country pubs in walking distance. The South-facing patio has beautiful views across the valley, where you can enjoy your meals. At night have a fire in the fire bowl, listen to the owls and watch the stars.
The cottage has one bedroom and sleeps 4 people (double bed and bunks), and has a well equipped kitchen, open plan dining/living area, and walk in shower room.
It a 10 minute drive to the charming market town of Monmouth, 15 minute drive to the Forest of Dean and one hour’s drive to the stunning Brecon Beacons. Nearby are numerous visitor attractions including Tintern Abbey, Raglan Castle, Chepstow Castle, Perrygrove Railway, Puzzlewood, Symonds Yat and Clearwell Caves. Mountain bike and canoe hire is available locally.
